The founder of the company, Muhammad Ameer started off as a hard-working salesperson of Ameer & Sons International. He had great ambition and strived to be an owner of the company. As you can see, the name of the company, Ameer & Sons International came from the name of the owner of the company Muhammad Ameer. As it was a family business, the remaining name ‘Sons’ was added on to the owner’s name. His main aim was to continue the business throughout the generation. Muhammad Ameer then earned enough money to buy the company Ameer & Sons International and successfully began buying products from local importers. Most products are now sent off to the catering and the supermarkets all around Pakistan. Our company is now very well known by many other companies in Pakistan and now wish to be known by companies worldwide.

We are a family-run food business based in Karachi, Pakistan. Since 1960, we have been sourcing and supplying spices, dry fruits, pulses and lentils, herbs and Himalayan salt. Our Story: A Family Business Since 1960
Our founder, Muhammad Ameer, started as a salesperson at Ameer & Sons Foods. He wanted to own the business one day, and he worked until he could buy it.
The name comes from him. “Ameer” is the founder’s name, and “Sons” was added because this was always meant to be a family business, one that continues through the generations.
After taking over, he began buying directly from local importers and supplying caterers and supermarkets. Today the next generation helps run the business.
What We Supply
We stock the everyday ingredients that Pakistani kitchens depend on, along with a few specialty lines.
Spices
Red chilli powder, black pepper (kali mirchi), cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon (dalchini), turmeric (haldi), coriander, cumin seeds, white pepper powder and whole red chillies (lal mirchi). We also pack garam masala and freshly ground spices.
Dry Fruits and Nuts
Almonds, cashews, pistachios, shelled pistachios (pista giri), walnuts, raisins, dates, dry dates and dry apricots.
Pulses and Lentils
Mung beans, moong dal, moong dal chilka, masoor, red lentils, chana dal, chickpeas, brown chickpeas, black-eyed beans, red kidney beans and semolina (sooji).
Herbs
Rosemary, thyme, oregano, paprika and parsley.
Himalayan Salt
Edible crystal salt in pink, white and black varieties, plus Himalayan salt lamps, bath salt and décor pieces.
How We Pack and Check Our Products
Packing is part of our work, not an afterthought. Our products are cleaned, processed and packed in a hygienic, controlled environment, using vacuum packing and gas-flush packing. We can pack in customised sizes.
Before anything is packed, we inspect each product. If something needs to be improved, we act on it before the order goes out.
Our Facilities and Delivery
We use packing machinery for secure packaging and run our own vehicles for transport. A computer-based stock system tracks what has been sent and where more stock is needed, so we can keep our customers supplied.

Our projection for the future
The executive sales manager Muhammad Idrees Ameer has travelled to UK with a hope of extending his father’s business. He has worked exceedingly hard trying talking to many distributors and owners and large organisations. Our future plans are to import & Export products to many different countries; however we would want to start off in Europe. Furthermore, we would also want to continue buying off importers and selling them off to the supermarkets, Food companies and caterings all over Pakistan. Our next aim is to extend the business by importing & Exporting our products.And making sure that all our products are clean & process packed in a highly hygenical environment.
